Description: 6" wide x 3.5" tall I am not an expert regarding baskets. I believe that this is an African made basket, but I do not have any documentation to confirm this. I live in the South and purchased this at an estate sale years ago. As there are very talented basket weavers in this area, it is also possible that this could be a basket made in South Carolina or Georgia. This 6-inch diameter basket is very high quality with a tight weave and a beautiful pattern. It is about 3.5 inches high with the lid. It has a beautiful sweet scent when it is opened.
