Description: 1990s vintage TEAPOT by Cardew Design in Blue Willow pattern. This is a Figural Wash Basin with TOWEL,. pitcher, basin, Soap. Wash stands has carving detail with tile backsplash, and a marble like surface that even shows veining painted by the artist. This is a beautiful, extra large, 2-pc figural teapot depicting a Wash Stand with a Wash Bowl and Pitcher/ jug lid, decorated in the iconic Paul Cardew blue willow pattern. The teapot is approximately 11.5in x 8.5in x 5.5in. It is in good pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing and a few marks in the glaze- please zoom in to photos to view condition. This was a collector’s piece and used for display only. There is no original packaging. The piece is marked Cardew Design, Made in England, along with the signature birds. This piece is believed to be from mid 1990s as the collector purchased most pieces then.
