VTG Univolt Multimeter DT-888 US & Germany Patent Digital Electric Tester & Case

Description: ESTATE FIND multimeter. Inserted new 9V battery and unit powered up. We are unfamiliar with its operation and have not tested it further. Case is made of black vinyl, leather or other material and shows wear. Actual multimeter shows no obvious physical defects, but again, we only powered it up, and did not test its accuracy or function, so it is sold as is. Comes with a manual. There are 4 screw holes on back that hold the front & back pieces together, but only one has a screw in it. Still, it seems to hold the unit together tightly and w/o issue. It is marked Patent Pending in U.S. & W.
