VTG Wedding Dress 1950s Floor Length Silk Or Satin w/ Train Lace Bodice Beaded

Description: Absolutely gorgeous early 1950s full length wedding gown. Approximately a size 2-4. Has a sweet short sleeve floral lace bodice with a silk or satin sweetheart shaped bodice beneath the lace. High neckline with a slight v on the back of the bodice. Wide cummerbund type waist with an adorable bow like detailing at the center back of the waistline. The front of the bodice is adorned with small fax pearls and iridescent pastel rainbow sequins. The skirt portion is either silk or satin, I can’t tell. It is full length with a train. The dress is unbranded and appears to have been custom tailor made. Bust is about 34” Waist is 26” Bodice measures 16” from the TOP of the shoulder to the BOTTOM of the wide waistband. Waistband is about 4.5” high. Skirt measures 45” in the front and about 59” in the center back, measured from the bottom of the waistband. Model stats: height 5’ 6”, bust 31, waist 26.5 The dress is in great vintage condition. I was only able to find one spot, on the waistband, very faint and may come out with a cleaning. The hem does not show any signs of stains or soiling. No unpleasant or overwhelming odors. Please keep in mind that this is a vintage preowned garment with a lot of excess material, and very minor flaws from wear and storage may have been missed. *I don’t normally accept returns, but since this is a higher priced item that is for a special occasion, and fit can be so hard to determine from a computer screen, I will allow a buyer to return this item if they receive it and it doesn’t fit properly.
