Description: Walking Swagger Cane Howell London 19" Bamboo unique rare antler head vintage. We have a very cool vintage piece made by a famous maker in London England "Howell" canes and walking sticks. At first I thought it might possibly be a salesman's sample but Howell is so famous, they did not need advertising. It is a short bamboo body stick with an antler head, and with the brass Howell medallion inserted to it. The original Howell shop was established at 76 Aldersgate in London in 1832 by Henry Howell's father, John Howell, selling canes. This one is only 19 inches long, and I believe it could be a British Officers "Swagger Stick", but whatever it is is in excellent condition.
