Up for sale today is a copy of Marvel Comics UK's WCW (World Championship Wrestling) # 8, circa 1993. HTF issue; low print run! 1st printing. VERY scarce Marvel UK import! Magazine sized, generally with a sealed pack of trading cards taped to the front cover (the same types of promos they were including with the Doctor Who Magazine during this era) glossy center pages and a centerfold poster. A product of WCW's attempts to push into the European market back in the day! Photo cover featuring Ron Simmons. Centerfold poster (Barry Windham and, oops, Ric Flair as Champ in the background - before he returned from WWF) is intact! "Body Building" page featuring Simmons (essentially a variation on the old paper dolls) is intact! Back cover photo pin-up of Missy Hyatt. This issue reprints WCW (US) # 10. Rare comic appearances of Sting, Rick Rude, Mick Foley as Cactus Jack (though poor Mick was never THAT fat!), Ron Simmons, Arn Anderson, Van Hammer (sure, you remember him...), the Steiner Brothers, Paul Heyman and many more! Low grade copy. The trading cards have been removed. The spine is torn in numerous places - and looks to have been detached - with numerous amateur tape repairs throughout. Numerous tears and color breaks. Heavy bottom corner rolling/creasing. Interior pages are complete and solid, with no cut-outs or writing noted. Heavy edge tanning.
