If mount the camera at side, it still works, but with guide line offset.*Guide line is for reference only, please use the mirrors for position when backup.*Apply electrical tape for the joint of all for the connectors, and use zip ties to fasten the wire on your vehicle.*Seal the red wire next RCA/AV connector with electrical tape if you do not use it.*If you want to get a perfect view angle, before you use a drill rig to make a hole, please seriously check and test to find where is the best spot to mount this reverse camera,please rotate the middle housing part of the camera (maximum 360 degrees) or move the bracket (maximum 90 degrees) to get the best view angle.
