Description: For sale is a cigarette or table lighter by Wedgwood in the Blue Jasperware grape pattern. The globe shape base has a matte blue finish with an applied grape vine motif in white. The lighter, manufactured by Evans in Japan, sits inside a metal container and has a fill hole for gas in the bottom. This piece is in very good condition with no damage and some light shelf wear on the bottom of the base. The base is impressed for Wedgwood on the bottom including "75". Made in England. The lighter's metal finish has uneven patina overall and shows light wear. There is some oxidization on the case (photograph 14) and on metal insert (photograph 4). The spark wheel turns freely and sparks against the stone. The fuel chamber is dry. The lighter is impressed for Evans on the reverse. Made in Japan.
