Description: WELCOME TO BRANDON'S AUCTION CO. This auction consists of a vintage berry / fruit / dessert bowl by Wedgwood in the Devon Rose pattern from the Georgetown Collection (I have 5 berry/fruit/dessert bowls {3 are perfect & 2 have crazing to the glaze}, 4 cup & saucer sets {2 are perfect & 2 have crazing}, several crazed dinner plates, and 2 crazed 6 1/8" bread & butter plates listed separately if you are interested). All pieces have the pink mark; except for the dinner plates, & the bread & butter plates. These have the blue mark. I will be glad to send pictures of the crazed pieces; these are not stress cracks, but crazing to the glaze as is typical from age. It is quite lovely dinnerware. The pattern consists of various vines, trees, flowers, a bird, & a butterfly on a cream background trimmed with yellowish bamboo. It is very much like what is referred to as an Indian Tree pattern, or the Tree of Life pattern; although it is much lovelier in my opinion. It is on a dodecagon, or 12-sided shape. This bowl measures approximately 5 7/8" in diameter. Photo 1 shows this bowl. Photo 2 shows a close-up of the pattern, the 12-sided shape, & the yellowish bamboo trim. Photo 3 shows a close-up of the mark on the back. And the last photo shows the back of this bowl. It is in vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or cloudiness; just some signs of light gentle use.
