Description: Label: Imperial 9144. Condition Cover/Record: VG++/M-. Mono. Disc is excellent with a couple of almost imperceptible surface marks. Appears to have been played very little. The cover is near mint except for a one inch piece of clear tape on the upper right seam. Comes with old Imperial inner sleeve. See below for general grading standards. Any discoloration in the pictures is shadow. All grading is based on visual inspection under a revealing light and I grade nothing as being absolutely mint(M). I was actively involved in collecting from 1976 to about 2006. Then in 2007 and 2008 I sold 90% of my collection because we were downsizing and moving from Houston to small town Kansas. I kept about 200 albums, mostly doo wop and 1950's R&B with a few other titles thrown in. Since I am getting up in years I am now selling those. My 30+ years of collecting tells me that my grading standards are on the conservative side. Registration may be required on foreign shipments at an additional cost of $16.00. DISC (VINYL) GRADES NM or M- This is highest grade I will assign to open records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but no scratches. The label is bright, clean and unmarked. E or VG++ Disc may have minor paper scuffs. There may be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked. VG+ Some visible surface wear with very minor scratches and scuffs. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean. VG Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs but none that should cause skips. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole. ALBUM COVER GRADES NM or M- Very minor signs of wear or abrasions. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible. E or VG++ Minor disc impression or slight corner creases, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear. VG+ Cover is clean but may have minor writing or marks and show slight wear. There may be just the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have small creases or fraying. VG Cover is worn. Seams may be starting to split or may be repaired with clear tape. There is moderate ringwear, but the artwork is still attractive. There may be yellowing or discoloration and there may be writing, labels, or marks. Corners may have damage or creases and there may be scratches or gouges that damage the artwork.
