Description: Super Cute Chainsaw Carved Wood Welcome Bear! Great conversation piece to add friendly charm and rustic flare to any porch, patio, cabin, or backyard. Approx 16.5 inches tall, 9 inches diameter, Sign is approx 18 inches long Hand selected cured Cottonwood from Missouri River Bottoms (I use logs/trees that have already fallen & cured on their own so I don't cut down any living trees). Chainsaws (I use two different types), angle grinder sanding, rotary tools, and torched accents. Sign is made from knotty pine wood. My style of carving for this type of bear is rustic- I mostly use chainsaws, so it is a roughened look. Please look at photos closely :) Sign is removable! Original work- Welcome Bear in photo is the one you will receive. Sealed with 3 coatings of Helmsman Indoor/Outdoor Spar Urethane. If placed Outdoors, best suited for a shaded area such as covered porch. PLEASE NOTE! Chainsaw carvings are made from wood and therefore will have some cracks and may crack, fade, flake etc. over time. Recommend keeping in partial shade (ideally covered area such as a porch or entry way) and coating with Helmsman Indoor/Outdoor Clear Gloss Spar Urethane every year or so, and more frequently if carving is in full sun or an exposed area. If placed Indoors, just dust off once in awhile. I do not accept returns- carvings should last many years with good care & maintenance.
