Description: For your consideration is a stoneware jug that has two handles. It has underglaze writing that indicates it originally contained 4/5 of a quart of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that was distilled and bottled by Glenmore Distilling Co. Inc. of Owensboro, Kentucky. On the bottom is underglaze writing. I did some research on the writing on the bottom and my research indicated that the distiller classified this container as a decanter and filled it in 1941.It is approximately 7 1/4" tall and the bottom has a diameter of slightly more than 3 1/4". This whiskey bottle is an old item that was used. It appears to have been broken and reassembled (IDK; I have 0 history).
