Up for sale is a vintage WFL/Ludwig 15” x 12” marching snare drum. The “WFL Drum Co.” badge indicates the drum is from the 1948-1952 time period. This drum is in good working order. The shell and bearing edges are in good shape with no cracks or ply separation. The Gold Sparkle wrap is as faded and checked as it gets, but it is still bound tightly to the shell with the wrap edge visible on the shell’s interior (see photo). The chrome has scratches, scuffs and some pitting but very little rust. The hoops are Chrome-over-brass and the snare gates are bent. The strainer and butt plate are missing and one tension rod has been replaced. An excellent candidate for a small bass drum or floor tom conversion!
