(Museum copy) The Cross was instituted by the white Ataman Bulak-Bulakhovich as a reward for military exploits. A cross made of white metal, in the form of the order of St. George the Victorious, was covered with white enamel and was worn on a wide black ribbon with a gold narrow border. In the center of the cross was fixed a medallion on oxidised silver in the form of a round laurel wreath,tied at the bottom with a ribbon; inside the wreath, a dead head was depicted above the crossed sword and torch. On the reverse side of the cross, the serial number of the recipient was engraved. Material: Nickel/ Silver, enamel. There are crosses covered with a black/ white cenamel. There is a version according to which black enamel crosses were awarded to the widows of the dead Warriors.
