Description: Nice collection of vintage books. All published by Whitman, all are small nature guides, printed in the late 1930s and 1940s. They have color illustrations throughout, some of them with a identification mark on the inside cover but minor. Generally clean pages. Occasional minor imperfections to the pages, but most of the pages are excellent. One of the books has a jacket which is starting to peel off. The others have printed boards. These are about the size of an adult hand. You could put one of these guides in your pocket and carried it around with you. Rare to find this many in a single collection.
