Description: This is a stated first printing of the true First Edition of A Fable (NY, Random House, 1954) by William Faulkner. The book is in very good condition. Binding is very straight, well intact and reasonably firm though not as tight as a fine copy. Exterior boards are very nice with no bumps or tears. Page ends are largely clean though top page ends are slightly toned. Interior contents are fine with no names or errant marks other than a couple of small tannish spots to FFEP along gutter. In an older archival cover, the dust jacket is priced and in about very good condition with light wear to heel, crown, folds, corners and edges. Bottom front corner has a chip and top rear edge near crown a short closed tear. The opening bid is $18.50 with an affordable buy it now.
