Bruising top & bottom of spine. Nice map of Changchih Lucheng Area on ochre end pages front & back. A bit of give to spine, but binding remains sound, intact. Pulling at top of spine, but still sound at bottom. This is an important book, and I believe I purchased this book to read from a thrift store without myself or the seller having noticed the inscription. This was decade or three ago, so the details are far from certain. I do not know the provenance, as is often the case in this business, but the signature looks good to me.
