His best-known plays are The Deep Purple, produced in 1911, and The Greyhound, produced in 1912. He was manager and co-owner of The Brown Derby restaurant in Los Angeles, California, and was affiliated with his brother, Addison Mizner, in a series of scams and picaresque misadventures that inspired Stephen Sondheim's Bounce (2003), later retitled Road Show (2008) ..... The cast included SYDNEY BOOTH, W. A. NORTON, WILLIAM BEACH, ROBERT CAIN, W. J. FERGUSON, GEORGE M. FEE, DWIGHT DANA, VIOLET HEMING, ADA DWYER, ISABEL WALDRON, ROSINA HENLEY, ROSAMOND O'KANE, JOHN WILLIAMS, CHARLES BROWN, GEORGE M. ZORN, HENRY DAVIS, WILLIAM PAGE and GIOVANNI CAVALARO ..... CREDITS: Book by PAUL ARMSTRONG and WILSON MIZNER; Staged by HUGH FORD; Produced by the LIEBLER COMPANY ..... CONDITION: (Please Note!) There is considerable wear to the outside edge of the front cover, light soiling to the first inside page (as well as a chip at the top seam of the first inside page), a light moisture stain at the top right corner (visible on the first three pages) and moderate edge wear. Despite these flaws, this rare program will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian.
