This screw keeps the finger lever pin in place when you removed a scope mount. Pre 2,700,000 serial number models only. All parts sold must be checked, installed, and assembled by a qualified and competent gunsmith as some components may or may not require fitting depending on the tolerances allowed by the manufacturer, vintage, and potential re-manufacturer (if an aftermarket piece).
