The ricasso reads, Winchester Trademark Made in USA. The other ricasso reads, 19102, '93. This knife comes with information on several Factory Sample Winchester Knives that we recently purchased directly from Bluegrass Cutlery. There were 9 W 18 19102 Factory Sample Red Bone One blade toothpicks were done and sent for the approval of the handle material, shield and blade types. They put a 19102 blade in a 19034 body frame, they were to be a Cartridge Shield, but a Winchester oval shield was used. The handle material was incorrect for a 19102 knife. These factory Samples were never produced. The snap on the blades are very good, no wobble. No chips or cracks in the handles. This knife was manufactured by Bluegrass Cutlery in Southern Ohio. All of the knives we are selling here on ebay were purchased directly from the Cutlery Company. This knife has not been cleaned or polished.
