Made in Mexico, it is in excellent condition. Fashioned of polished cast aluminum, the wine coaster is decorated in a western/ranch theme that features four embossed longhorn bulls’ heads. With horn tips touching, the rustically executed bovines create a continuous, three-dimensional border that makes a bold statement in contrast with the coaster’s smooth and shiny rim. Measuring a generous 8” in diameter, the coaster stands 2” tall. Its opening for a bottle or candle is 4” wide and 1 1/2” deep. Weighing 1 pound 12 ounces, it is a solid, substantial and stable piece. A “Made in Mexico” sticker is affixed on the bottom. This vintage item is in excellent condition. The embossed figures are fully intact, and the smooth metal finishes are glossy with no notable defects. Close inspection reveals fine scratching overall (please see photos 12 and 13) that is likely related to cleaning and polishing.
