Aluminum Soft tops were introduced around 1960 and phased out a few years later when Iron City and Schlitz began using pull tabs. this is a pre-1964 American rolled steel can with a soft top aluminum lid. The next can was steel with a pull tab (1967), then all aluminum by 1970. Empty of contents. Double panel. Double punch on top. Strong steel bottom with previous owners initials and other markings as seen on bottom. A few small scratches and some moisture damage but not rusted yet. Displays well. Over 60 years old.
