Unfortunately, we have been unable to ascertain, with an acceptable degree of certainty, the identity of the other individual who also put their signature on this page. The additional signature adds no monetary value or has any cultural significance. If anything, the additional signature should be viewed as an unfortunate flaw! Some would classify this copy as an Early Printing or a Later Printing. We prefer to be as specific as possible with our classifications/descriptions which is why we refer to this copy as a First Edition/Fourth Printing. Please feel free to message us for more info regarding that copy. This rare treasure has some very clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition! The wear, however, is considerable and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. Some general/shelf wear along with internal writing, a previous owner sticker, creases/rips/wear to the spine/corners/boards, marks/wear to the edge/fore pages and creases/marks/discoloration/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the wear that is present on the pages, particularly noticeable on certain pages, and the rip/wear on the spine/boards. The rip is located near/along the bottom edge of the spine/front board and has been closely photographed for your consideration. All of the wear previously mentioned is considerable and very clearly visible! The wear should be carefully examined/considered. The previous owner sticker is attached to the front pastedown, (inside front board), and contains the name and address of a previous owner. As mentioned before, there is some internal writing! There is the presumed previous owner signature we detailed earlier. The name/writing is located on the second page, the same page with the Pileggi signature/inscription. There is also writing on the front pastedown, (inside front board). Some of the writing can be a bit difficult to see due to the ink/pen used on the colored/red page. Still, all of the writing is very clearly visible! All of the writing, the entire page, has been closely photographed for your consideration. Once again, we want to repeat that there is some internal writing and the writing is present on two separate pages. The original dust jacket is price-clipped, otherwise fully intact but has considerable wear! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, rips and marks. There are also numerous pieces of clear tape attached to the inside of the dust jacket! Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners, on the inside jacket flaps and near/along the edges! All of the wear previously mentioned is considerable and very clearly visible! The wear, particularly near/along the edges, should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear. Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is considerable and VERY clearly visible! All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.
