Description: A working serger. I have used it when it was given to me and it worked on heavy canvas. Then I tried playing with the tension and it stopped working, after rethreading it a few times I could only ever get it to break my thread. So, it definitely works but someone will have to read the manual or just have more serger experience than me. I personally sew almost everything with a stitching awl, because I'm only interested in very heavy fabrics like 1000g cordura, nylon, Dacron, etc for heavy caving equipment, paragliding, sailing, climbing. None of those things need a serger. My understanding is that because it does not have automatic tensioning, it's not as desirable as some modern ones in the same price range, but it does have nice high quality parts.
