Description: Rare typewriter brand in UK- this one came from Zurich Switzerland Serial number 50507 on both typewriter and case date this to around 1925- made in Bavaria by Gebruder Bing Nurnberg (more famous for their metal toys)- this is amusingly classed as a portable model by the excellent typewriter database. It is in really good, non-rusty clean condition and works - see type example. Things to fault it for:missing a nut on one side only, letter q is sticky (but can work- rest of keys really smooth), bell mechanism works but doesn't ting. Great as is or could be restored further. Really heavy hence postage
