Description: Here is a world class specimen of transparent to translucent selenite crystal from Naica Mine, Chihuahua, Mexico. The selenite has a excellent luster with smooth, striated faces. The crystals are very large and very well formed, contrasting beautifully against the dark matrix! There are even some small crystals trapped inside one of the larger crystals! This is the largest piece I have of this material and it is quite an aesthetic specimen from this world famous mine! Not easy to find pieces of this size and quality! The dimensions are 17.5 by 12.5 by 8.5 cm. Weighs 1058 grams, or 2.36 Lbs. The largest crystal measures 14 cm across.
