Popular features included "The Devil's Workshop" (how-to-do-it spfx) and the "Monster of the Month" color fold-out poster. Finding issues with the fold-out poster intact has proven to be a Collector’s challenge…be careful! Sadly, after #7, the run of one of the '60s best monster mags ended. The Monster Of The Month is a giant full color pinup of metaluna mutant (from This Island Earth). Condition: apprx. 5/8" cover split/wear/paper erosion at bottom of spine, wear/cross stress creases/cracks along spine, apprx. 7/8" wear/paper-loss at top of spine, apprx. 1-3/4" diagonal crease at top right corner of front cover running thru first 8 or so dual sided internal pages, apprx. 5/8" diagonal crease at bottom right corner of front cover, jagged scratching/indentation above cover creature's eyes, blue scribbles in the white's of the cover creature's eyes, chunk of paper loss at top right corner of back cover (as shown), pin hole near mid-point of left edge of back cover, apprx. 1/2" wide strip/fold parallel to bottom edge of the fold-out poster (as shown), internally complete with all pages and nothing clipped out or missing. All magazines are packaged with Collectors in mind. They will be individually bagged, and sandwiched between two pieces of over-sized cardboard. This not only helps to prevent magazine edge damage during the shipping phase, but it also helps to prevent folding and rough handling of the magazine(s). This secured package is then put into a cushioned bubble mailer, helping to ensure you will receive your item in the same condition that it leaves my crypt in!
