Pairing this tread design with a high-volume Casing allows it to push further into the dirt than is expected of a semi-slick drop bar tire. Byway allows riders to find comfort and confidence on remote gravel roads without being bogged down on the pavement required to REACH them. Smooth centerline with a diamond file outside edge for equal traction on both paved and dirt roads. High-volume TCS - Tubeless Compatible System casing allows for lower tire pressures, which provides improved traction and comfort on gravel roads.
