Description: You are bidding on a VERY NICE set of WW2 US Army Airforce Type B-8 Polaroid Pilot Goggle Lenses! These were used by pilots in all branches of service throughout the war. B-8 flying goggles were the first to use a rubber frame instead of metal. This type by Polaroid came with a set of different colored lenses to use during changing weather conditions. They have a single aperture lense and had a greater resistance to fogging and an improved field of vision than the earlier B-7 type.Made of rubber and plastic by Rochester Optical, these Pilot Flight Goggle Lenses are in VERY NICE unused condition! No damage, however there are some slight bends and warping (typical), as you can see in the photos. Stored in a cloth bag that is manufacture marked. All the original protective paper is included, however the glue has come away. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
