Description: Original WW1 map of "THE CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS, ROMANIA & THE BALKANS" (December 1916) that includes SERBIA, BULGARIA, ROMANIA, HUNGARY, SALONICA, GALLIPOLI etc.The map was one of a series of weekly supplements produced for the civilian market by the French newspaper "L'ILLUSTRATION". The series covered the various theatres of conflict around the globe. Has a small hole and a long piece of tape to rear (see photos).
