Description: For sale here is an extremely rare pair of WW2 Bulgaria Bulgarian Army Officer's Wool Felt Super Tall Cold Weather Boots. These appear to have been made to wear over standard boots. These are extremely tall and wear up to the mid thigh area. The upper section of the boots are made of thick brown wool felt with leather banding. This felt does show moth tracking, moth holes, and some damage. These have been thoroughly frozen, so you won't have to worry about the insect signs that you see inside of the boots. I have brushed and lightly cleaned the outsides, but the insides still need cleaning. The lower portion of the boots are made of brown leather, which is still very supple. The leather shows use, age, wear, and some scuffing. The bottom soles of the boots are made of rubber. Unfortunately, this rubber has dried and cracked with some loss and it is brittle. The rubber is sewn over a stacked leather sole. The upper laces are present. The bottom soles of the boots measure approximately 12 1/2" long and 4 3/8" wide. The boots measure approximately 27 1/8" tall from floor to top. There are no markings that i can find. As mentioned, the leather shows plenty of wear, but is supple and solid, the rubber is dried and cracked, and the wool felt uppers show plenty of insect tracking, holes, and light damage. However, these still have a great look and are extremely rare. If you are a Bulgarian collector, a boot collector, or a strange militaria collector, these will be right up your alley. These are very flexible, so i will fold these up for the trip to you to save on the oversized box charge.
