Description: WW2 German M36 Wool Greatcoat Description Reproductions of the WW2 German M36 Greatcoat. These great coats are detailed reproductions of the M36s worn by Troops in the German Heer in the pre and early WW2 years. They have been developed directly from an original, and have a much higher wool content than the majority of other reproductions. The 80% wool manufacture gives the great coat a much more authentic feel when worn, making these some of the best repros around. The long coats are identifiable by their dark green collars, later replaced for the later M40 version. The front of the coat is finished with a series of green pebbled buttons. They also have a pair of field grey shoulder boards on the shoulders and a pair of pockets at the sides. We have sized these below to be worn over the tunic. If your paratrooper helmet doesn't sit neatly when you put it straight on, you can adjust it by unscrewing the liner and putting the screw back through a different hole like you would a belt.
