Description: 1938-1939 WW2 Japanese Propaganda film. Unseen since 1945. 35MM Nitrate film with sound in original tin contains never before seen footage of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, other historically relevant figures. Film is 8min 49 seconds long and a professionally digitized copy of the film will be supplied in the sale with all rights. Digitization done by world famous Lifetime Heritage Films Inc including cleaning of aforementioned film. Film also showcases extremely rare combat footage of the Japanese invasion of China. A simple rundown of the film can be listed as 0- 0:13 intro reading. 0:13-1:35 Japanese officials being talked about 1:42-3:04 Hitler and Mussolini walk, ride a car together, attend a ceremony, a crowd of cheering onlookers surround them. Hitler is seen smiling, waving, saluting people. 3:18-8:49 progress of the Japanese invasion of China in film shows soldiers running, charging, and fighting through fields, streams, trench's, shelled cities using rifles, artillery, machine guns, katanas. Aircraft showcased alongside the shelling of a large building with a large plume of smoke rising from it as it is hit. Soldiers ride Bactrian camels, and walk alongside train tracks. A large group of the soldiers rise they're arms and weapons at the same time cheering for the camera. Sound effects and narration being added to the film by the original creators of the film. Film in film canister measures 9.5inches in diameter and is 1.5inches in height. Top of can still has original makers label stickered to top of lid. Originally housed in private Japanese collection that I acquired (invoice of transaction upon request is available). Work on the film including digitization, cleaning, respooling etc. (invoice of work done available upon request ). Currently the digitized film is on a 64 GB PNY USB Flash drive and will be included in the sale as the only copy of the film. Total money invested in the private purchase, conservation, and work done is just under USD 1000. This is a very rare piece that I have put lots of time and effort into. The value can only go up.
