Condition:Good condition. There are four small tears: Left side: one 1" on the upper left underneath the word "United," and 1 1/2" next to "Adjutant."Right side: one 1 1/2" underneath the word "America," and another 1" just above the signature of the Assistant Secretary of War. The paper is lightly browned around the edges, but the print and handwriting is still clear and not faded. This certificate was in storage for over 50 years, folded as shown in the last photograph. To avoid putting pressure on the tears shown, the certificate will be shipped in the same folded manner.
