Description: This is a trench lighter from WWI. It is marked "Glory To The United States" on one side. I believe it was made in France. It has been polished. It is made of brass and copper, brass on one side and copper on the other. New flint installed and it does make a spark. Measures 1 5/8" wide. Many people do not like these lighters polished but it was really tarnished and now you can see that it is made of mixed metals, something the tarnish was hiding. There is a small crack in the collar where the spark assembly pushed into the body. Overall this is in very good condition. I don't think there are any dents.
