Description: WWI USMC Marine Corps AEF M1917 Dismounted Cartridge Belt for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield - Marked: P.B.&Co. 1918 - Round Flap Version - NICE Condition - RARE Up for sale is a WWI USMC Marine Corps M1917 Dismounted Cartridge Belt for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield Rifles. This is the "Round Flap" Version, which is generally attributed to usage by the USMC. The round flap version of this belt is somewhat RARE and difficult to find. This belt has 10 Pockets. The belt was designed to hold 20 Stripper clips for the M1903 Springfield or M1917 Enfield rifles. The belt is used, see photo's for Condition. No rips or tears. Some very minor fraying around one of the male "lift the dot" fasteners studs, see photo. Also some minor fraying at the buckle and on one of the pockets, see photos. It has the early Khaki Tan Color. It is faintly marked: P.B.&Co. 1918 on each side of the belt. Please see photo's for details. This would make a welcomed addition to any WWI Collection.
