Description: US War Production This is a nice reproduction of an original WW2 photograph showing US workers manufacturing 105mm(?) ammunition in a US factory. (Note: the caption with the photo when I got it said this is 105mm ammo, it looks much to large to me, unless the people are very very small. Perhaps 155mm or some type of Naval shell?) The massive efforts at home to produce the materiels needed for the war effort were unprecedented and had as much to do with ultimate Allied victory as the actions on the battlefields did.
