This watch possess' a reliable and durable jeweled ISA-1148 Japan Made Quartz Movement (battery included). Luminous blued steel hands with a large diameter of 36mm and a height of 13mm. The band is made from strong khaki cotton that measures 18 mm in width. This is like the United States Navy military canteen style watch that was developed during WWII and has a very sharp and clear dial with large Arabic numbers. It is nearly identical in look a feel to the Navy SEAL or UDT watch produced by Hamilton and Elgin during WWII (World War II) and the Korean War except it is new and has been enlarged to a size more in keeping with modern watches. It has a reliable jeweled quartz movement in it unlike the original mechanical version which now sells for over $2000!! It is great to wear as an everyday timekeeper but be warned, you'll have a lot of curious looks with compliments and questions about what the crown guard is.
