Here The Bill was printed and approved on the Island Province of Bohol. It was redeemable after the crisis passed. These Bills were intended to introduce a Philippines Currency after the Japanese conquered the Islands in the spring of 1942. If captured with Guerrilla Currency it was a death sentence. Three local bureaucrats signed off on the Bill. The Japanese had defeated the American who simply ran out of ammunition, food and supplies and an impossible logistical problem to solve. A real problem happened after the surrender of Corregidor where the Japanese had to try to keep the peace. Each province had their own guerrilla groups and currency, and kept the pressure on tying up Japanese Forces until MacArthur returned. It does not look like the Note was circulated. It is 81 years old in fair condition.
