It is of Officer's Quality. Soldiers and Airmen were allowed during the War to acquire privately purchased and or theater made uniforms and uniform accoutrements. Again this Cap features the highly desirable leather sweatband with interior liner to the crown. It appears to be a decent size 7 cap. There is a neat yellow gold painted code: 14 - 43.
