Description: This is an original as found pair of hard to find medium size early ski gaiters. These being the very early ones don't have the leather inside ankle guards. They do have the leather tarsal strap and arch strap. This pair has both laces and all the leather is good and seems to have been treated with a waxy type preservative. These are OD #3 in color. They are not date marked. These were purchased in the early 50's at a Camp Hale base sale. This is where the10th Mountain Division was training before being deployed during WWII.
