Description: This is a lot of 6 - Sterling Vitrified China USMC Semper Fidelis Mess Hall Bread Plates from the 1950s. These measure approximately 6-1/2 inches in diameter. Nostalgic military mess hall dinnerware made by Sterling Vitrified China for the United States Marine Corp with Semper Fidelis motto and symptom in center, off white plates with a navy blue trim and stars. These were likely used in the officer's dining area or for special sit-down meals. You will receive all 6 pictures. These are rare and hard to find. They date I believe to 1953. These are all in really nice condition with only minimal wear from age/storage and no cracks, breaks, chips etc. Great piece of military history.
