For a completely bespoke gaming accessory, our build your own option allows you to personalise and customise every aspect of your controller with thousands of possible combinations. Warranty All of our controllers are earmarked as custom products, including our pre designed controllers. While yes they do have a set design, that does not indicate that they are not custom. Our custom controllers are not covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as they are by definition, a custom product. This means that you will get a 6 month warranty that has been set by us. You have the option to upgrade to 12 months if you so wish. Returning a Faulty Item for Repair (Within 14 Days) Please open an eBay return to start return process. Your item must be sent back within 14 days of delivery. A small number of orders may have faults despite our rigorous testing. If you wish to use your own courier, you can at your own cost but we cannot be responsible for it being lost or damaged in transit. You must make the fault clear when contacting us as this is what your return will be assessed against. We welcome the use of photography or video to illustrate faults. The item must be in its original packaging with no signs of damage or tampering with the exception of the agreed fault. Our controllers are sent with a warranty sticker and this must remain in-tact. If you wish to send your controller for repair, sending your controller in its original packaging is not necessary though please ensure it is securely wrapped to avoid damage in transit. If any returned items are shown to have signs of damage or tampering caused by the customer, the return will be refused and there will be a charge of £10 for us to return the item to you plus any delivery costs as currently calculated at checkout. This also applies where the fault has not existed in an attempt to return the item free of postage, where double the amount of postage will be charged to cover both the fraudulent attempt and return postage. International Returns In addition to the terms and conditions on this page, additional policies are in place for international returns (any returns outside of the UK). If an item has been returned as faulty and is found not to be faulty, in an attempt to exploit the free returns label, the return will be refused. For the item to be returned to you, you will need to pay for 2 lots of postage costs plus a £10 handling fee to account for the free postage fraudulently obtained. Postage is at our current rate. Royal Mail do not currently allow us to offer an international returns label. Because of this, we may have to ask you to post the item back at your expense for which we will refund you upon proof of postage. This is because we do not have access to all international postage facilities or your schedule for collection/drop-off availability. We are sorry for the inconvenience. In the event the controller can not be fixed, a replacement will be offered. If a replacement can not be offered due to a part being discontinued or unavailable, we will offer a comparable alternative. No refunds will be given under standard warranty. Shells, casings or graphics are not included in warranty though we may be able to swap these (if in stock) for a fee. To claim on your warranty, please use the returns form. You will need proof of purchase (i.e. our confirmation email). When sending your product back to us, we highly recommend using a tracked and fully insured service. P.O Box/Military Base/Other Restricted Access Sites Due to reasons out of our control, we are unable to deliver to any P.O. Boxes, either within the UK or International. Our couriers have advised us that they are unable to deliver to these as they need a physical address to deliver too. We are able to deliver to Military Bases, providing they have a dedicated mail room and not operating under a P.O Box If your delivery address has restricted access or needs to be accessed in a specific way, please let us know when placing your order by emailing aftercare@x-mods.co.uk as we will be able to update the courier to meet your specific needs. Incorrect Shipping Address We can unfortunately not be liable for sending items to an address that has been incorrectly provided. If you believe you’ve given us an incorrect address, please message us via eBay’s messages immediately. Once items are dispatched they are in the control of the courier. Refunds or replacements will not be given when customers have provided an incorrect delivery address nor are X-Mods UK responsible for locating the lost item. If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect address, there will be a charge to return the item to you to cover both our time in administrating the return and further shipping costs. Our administration costs are £10.00 per item and the shipping costs are calculated as are advertised at checkout at the current time. Missed Deliveries If Royal Mail try to deliver and you’re not in or refuse the parcel, it will be taken to your local delivery office. November and December are notoriously busy for couriers worldwide due to the holidays celebrated such as Christmas, and as such we publish ‘cut-off’ times for guaranteed delivery by Christmas each year.
