The 3-piece maple bolt-on neck is topped off with a slick 24-fret ebony fingerboard, which along with the flatwound stings currently equipped on this bass, make for a superior performance. But what about the tone? The BB-NE is equipped with the active NE1 preamp, two Yamaha Special Singles with Dummy Coils, and Master Volume, Pan, Bass Cut/boost, Treble Cut/boost, Mid Range controls and will deliver everything from a smooth growl to and thumping boom that your body can feel!
