Description: Yamaha O3D Digital 24 Channel Mixer Studio Console 03D Yamaha w/ CD8-AT ADAT IN/OUT For sale is a Yamaha 03d with a AD/DA CD8-AT card installed. This mixer has been largely used in a home music studio as a DA/AD converter for my outboard synth gear. Its been a great board, but takes up a big part of my desk space and have decided to reclaim for more gear. This is a 24-channel (8 XLR w/phantom, (8 Shared w/ XLR) 16-1/4in, 8 ADAT) in, with 4 Aux AND 4 Busses, St AES in/out, ADAT in/out, Tape in/out. Onboard EQ/Reverb/Compressors/Chorus and other effects. Everything is stored digitally and can be recalled. Great unit for any studio that needs a lot of channels and a good AD converter to get into your DAW. FYI - The CD8-AT ADAT converter in it is awesome and sounds great(see pics). This expansion board alone sells ~$125 used. I can include a PDF of the original owners manual. I am looking for the original manual, which may have gotten lost in a move.Unit History:I have had this unit for about 20 years, I bought it used back in 2000. I've replaced the battery in it about 15 years ago, and it's showing 100% charge (see pic). This unit has been in a smoke-free, mostly dust-free music studio. It was wrapped in a box in storage for about 10 years until I started buying synths about 2 years ago. Here is a video of the boot up stage / Fader movement: https://youtu.be/0SlKthINbtg I do not ship international. I've only been using the ADAT converter and sometimes the headphone out on it. All the inputs seems to be working just fine, Phantom is working fine. I haven't tested all the analog outputs recently, but as of a few years ago, everything was working, except for the issues listed below:These are the issues I'm aware of:The AUX analog output amps seems to be fuzzy - I'm guessing a cap or the op-amp chip itself needs to be replaced, it is usable, but doesn't sound great. I used the Bus outs when I was recording in analog environments that needed more outputs. The fader motors need a little cleaning. I'm not getting any sticking, but have noticed a little sluggishness and some micro-motor noise on "paired" channels. COSMETIC: White plastic has yellowed a little bit over the years. There are some marks and scratches on the sides, nothing major.
