Description: YAMAHA YTR-9335NYS Bb Trumpet with case Xeno Artist Model Description Condition: New YAMAHA Xeno Artist Model YTR-9335NYS The "New York" Series The development of the "New York" Series began with the cooperation of Robert Sullivan, who was active as the Assistant Principal of the New York Philharmonic. We also invited Mr. David Bilger, Principal of the Philadelphia Orchestra, as a collaborator. The C-tube with YM bell has a brilliant tone and a responsive blowing feel. The YTR-9445NYS-YM C trumpet with YM bell has a clearer, brighter, and tighter tone, and is a favorite of the Boston Symphony Orchestra trumpet section. Valve Casing Based on new findings from our vintage trumpet research, we have revised the dimensions and wall thickness of specific parts of the valve casing. The synergistic effect of the valve casing change and the light-weight piston has resulted in a significant improvement in response, enabling clearer expression of fine grains of sound. Water key cork The water key is newly made of rubber cork*, which does not easily change over time. This change has resulted in a more cohesive sound and improved reach and response. *Rubber cork: A uniform mixture of cork particles in synthetic rubber. It has superior compression and restoration properties compared to normal cork. Bell shape The tapered design of the bell and the square bending of the U-shaped part provide ideal resistance. This produces a more "three-dimensional" sound with a strong core and improves playability in the upper register. French bead In contrast to the general method of curling with a circular edge ring, this is a very advanced method of curling with a kamaboko-shaped edge ring that conforms to the shape of the ring. This method is characterized by its excellent sound feedback to the player. Reed pipe The use of a thicker-than-ever reed pipe, the original Malone pipe (MB2), and a lightweight mouthpiece receiver has improved tone and response, as well as providing optimal resistance for playing. In addition, by not soldering the finger rests to the leadpipe, the characteristics of the leadpipe are demonstrated and tone and response are improved. The MB2 type leadpipe, in combination with the bell, provides a more rewarding blowing experience. Malone Pipes™. Since Bob Malone opened his Los Angeles workshop in 1983, many trumpet players have had their instruments customized by him. His uniquely designed reed pipes are especially highly regarded and have been passed down through the generations under the name Malone Pipes. In 2001, Yamaha invited Mr. Malone to join its development team, and the Malone pipes are used in some of its custom models. These reed pipes, with their massive, brilliant sound and excellent far-reaching qualities, will bring out the player's musical vision to the fullest extent. Water key The key design has been modified to maximize the resonance of the pipe body, and the weight balance between the water key arm and saddle has improved the ease of aiming in the upper register, while further enhancing the freedom of playing and response. Design and Position of the Bell Seat and Pillar The design of the bell seat is designed for quicker response and a more vibrant and resonant tone, while the Y-extraction pipe post is positioned in an orthodox manner. Slide Stopper The slide stopper prevents the extraction tube from falling off, and is made of silicon rubber, so it can be used without discoloring the instrument. It is both strong and resilient, and can be left in place while playing. (Length: 12 cm) Included Case The TRC-801E is a double case that can be carried by hand, on the shoulder, or on the back. ~~Development Artist~~.
