It has been rebuilt with new sleeves, pistons, wrist pins, crankshaft, rod and main bearings. Items that were not replace were inspected and measured and were found to be within specs. The parts used for this rebuild were purchased through an authorized Yanmar dealer. The engine type is diesel and it has 8 valves, 4 cylinders, it was made by Yanmar for the John Deere application. It is suitable for use in heavy equipment with proven reliable and efficient diesel engine power. This is a long block (plus). The plus is because it also includes timing gear covers and the injection pump. (It does not include fuel injectors or oil pan). I have not tested the injection pump so I cannot warranty that part but this was a running engine when it spun a rod bearing which led to the rebuild. The injector pump is being included at no charge. If full asking price is paid the shipping will be free. If offer is accepted for less than the full asking price, the shipping price will $350.00. If shipping, I am not sure that I can have it shipped in 2 to 3 days as the ad states due to the size and weight of the engine but the shipping can be expected within one week.
