Description: When we first got it, this unit seemed like it was dropped at some point. As a result the fan shroud inside was making contact with the fan which caused a loud noise. Since it was riveted on and the 2 mounting points were bent there was no way to adjust the shroud out of the way. So we removed the shroud (you can see it in the last few pictures). We had to drill out the rivets. During inspection, the fan bearings seem to have not been damaged, the fan doesn't wobble and it spins on center. Only the very outer edges of the fan blades have marks from the contact. We doubt it was run for more than a few seconds once the noise started. It seems to be running well now. It generates suction and pressure, shuts off in the green zone while generating suction. Shuts off just above 500 psi while building pressure. Take a look at the pictures. The top seam of the case has a slight gap in it looks, probably from whenever it was originally damaged. But it isn't missing any hardware, has no cracks, has just a few scuffs and scratches. The "recovery complete" light works. One of the plastic port covers is missing. The fan shroud has been included in the package in case you want to try to reinstall it. Long story short, it seems to be running just fine despite the fan shroud being removed. All the wiring and plumbing inside the unit looked perfectly clean and intact.
