Description: RARE YVES SAINT LAURENT FOUR SEASONS LITHOGRAPH Set OF 4 VINTAGE MET MUSEUM 1983. Series of four Yves St Laurent offset lithographs depicting the four seasons designed by YSL in the 1970's and used in his "Twenty Five Years of Design" exhibition held at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1983. This was a spectacular event as Mr St. Laurent was the first living fashion designer to be honored by the Metropolitan Museum of Art with a solo exhibition. Also to be noted is his signature which is incorporated into each of the prints--not all prints included his signature. (Signature in plate - not pencil) Rarely seen and highly collectible, these litho's are sold as a group of four custom framed in beautiful white frames, brown papered backing and wired to hang. Some minor scuffs on white frame, can be repainted or possibly even come off with magic eraser Prints themselves are in good condition. The only reason I don’t say excellent is there is some minor foxing /: tiny dots but not on all of them, and only at top or bottom near corner. I tried to take the best photos I could to showcase it, but message me if you want more detail There are no returns so I hope that you can fully see the full picture and be happy with them! If you want to invest more, possibly down the line you could take them to a specialist to maybe remove the foxing from the paper, not sure - but it’s not noticeable until you really look for it These are stunning very rare lithographs to have. I will be devastated to part with them, as you see they match my decor perfectly - but will be happy for the lucky buyer who gets to own these next!
