The Zaphir brand name has some contention on its provenance, but what is known is that a member of staff at Lladro - Jose Puche was the sculptor for this brand. Formed in circa late 1970's and by the mid 1980's had been incorporate into the Lladro/Nao brands. There is a definitive overlap during this time.
